In August it was time to dust off the trophy and gather you work team together to take part in our annual Business House Pub Quiz. It was a busy evening with 19 teams registered and perfect as a staff team builder. Lots of laughs and great time was had by all. Thank to Waitomo Club Inc for providing the venue and the a great quiz.

A Legendary Breakfast

In July we had the privilege of hosting Dr. Rangi Te Kanawa - World renowned Māori textile conservator as the speaker for our first Legendary Breakfast of the year.

Granddaughter of celebrated Dame Rangimarie Hetet (check out our Legends Gallery in town for more info) Dr Rangi Te Kanawa shared her experience and knowledge of Museum Conservation as a career and Muka textile being the drive.

What a great way to start the day with an inspiring speaker and a lovely breakfast at the Wool Press cafe. The event was a free event for LTK members and made possible with the generous support of local law firm McCaw Lewis.

A Legendary Breakfast

What a great evening with we had with Dr Paul Wood in early May.

It was lovely to see so many people come together and enjoy an insightful, energetic presentation. Three quick takeaways from his talk:

  • Are you being present

  • Are you open

  • Are you doing the right thing

A huge thank you to The Lines Company for sponsoring this event and making it possible
